Cryotherapy uses liquid nitrogen to freeze superficial skin lesions. It is commonly used for seborrhoeic keratoses (harmless pigmented growths), small flat moles, and other superficial lesions. The treatment takes a few seconds per lesion and requires no anaesthetic in most cases.
